Why should I pick Carol Cox over any of the many Amateur programs

Just who is Carol Cox?
Time to jump back into the history of the Internet. Carol's Internet
nickname, Wild Rose, was first coined back in 1986 when her husband
ran a small, adult-based BBS. It was a single-line thing that was
strictly text based, just something for fun. Carol kept using that
name on various BBS's through the years. From there, the jump to
the Internet was a natural progression. Carol Cox started her first
site back in April of 1994 with a small, free swingers based website
called Wild Rose' Fireside Chat. It was a way for Carol and her
husband to contact and meet other swingers. She began posting pictures,
and on request, started to get more daring and explicit. By 1995,
Wild Rose was one of the most popular websites on the Internet.
In 1996, Carol sat in the Number 1 position on Webcounter (the first
website traffic counting service) for a 3-month period. Carol originally
covered her costs, and made her money, by selling VHS video via
mail order through the Internet. Although she was a bit late getting
into the pay-site game, when she did in January of 1997, it was
with a vengeance. Within 2 months of launch, she became the top
merchant at IBill (her first processor). Her website still remains
the best-known and top producing Amateur adult website, there are
no competitors.

Does Carol Cox really own the site?
Yes, she does. Although Carol does not do the graphic, html or technical
work, she has extremely competent employees who she works with on
a daily basis. Nothing happens on the site without Carol's approval.
Carol still does all her own customer service and member inquiries.
That personal touch is one of the reasons that historically, carolcox.com
has one of the highest retention ratios on the Internet.

How come you never used a program in the past?
The main reason is, we never needed to. Carol website enjoyed many
years of 100,000+ of daily unique visitors, due to our effective
use of traffic trades. Why give away half your money when you don't
need to? Of course, as we all know, traffic profiles on the Internet
have changed, and that has affected us. Where, in the past, sites
would do traffic trades, now they want to get paid for that traffic
instead of getting traffic in return. As you always need to change
and adapt to remain successful, this is just another adaptation
for us.
What
it comes down to is we (like everyone) need fresh, new traffic,
and a partnership program is the best way to do that. Both sides
benefit, plain and simple.

How am I paid?
You will be paid 50% of every initial sign-up, and 50% of every
recurring billing. As the price for the website is $24.95, and the
average retention is 4.7 months (averaged over the last 3 years
of membership records), you can expect an average pay-out of $58.63
per referred member.

How do I know I'm not getting shaved?
Although we do have our own merchant account, we decided to use
a 3rd party billing company to handle both the tracking and the
pay-outs. For this we chose CCBill, a young and aggressive aggregate
payment processor who has proven results through us. In this way,
the pay-outs are out of our hands, and handled by an independent
company. In this way, you get paid, we get paid, and everyone is
happy. After all, the only important thing in all this is the bottom
line.

Why a Partnership Program and not a Pay-Per-Signup?
The obvious reason is, you WILL make more money this way! You could
either take $35.00 or $40.00 a sign-up, or what we stated above.
The real reason is that a Pay-Per-Signup program has to deal with
so much fraud and attempted Webmaster cheating, it just isn't worth
it to us to run. As a company who has done Pay-Per-Signup in the
past, we know this only too well. The quality of traffic coming
into the websites appears to be poorer than the traffic quality
when using a Partnership Program. You send us quality traffic, and
we will convert it. In this case, traffic really does equal money!

Can I use blind links or mailers?
Blind links…NO! Mailers…yes, with a qualifier.
Blind Links do nothing for us, and for you. You can mislead the
surfer and send 100,000 visitors and not get a sign-up, meanwhile
our bandwidth is getting used unnecessarily. In order to convert,
you have to presell properly. Use the correct linking criteria,
the right banners, and the right images. No one wants misdirected
traffic; it just pisses off the surfer, and us! Anyone found using
blind links and misdirected traffic will be removed from our program.
As
for mailers, yes, just as long as it's not pure spam. A mailer used
effectively can generate traffic and sign-ups, and not upset the
recipients or the MAPS-RBL people. If the mailer is used to presell
the surfer, it can work very well. All I can say here is use your
judgment and your understanding of proper mailing etiquette. People
blatantly spamming will be removed from the program.

What's this about the 2nd most downloaded woman?
Back in May of 2000 and continuing through January 2001, Danni Ashe
and DHD Media hired the Internet traffic ranking and rating company,
Alexa Research to do a study on Internet popularity and traffic
transfer for all women-based personality sites on the Internet.
This study was commissioned due to Cindy Margolis proclaiming herself
the "Most Downloaded Woman on the Internet". It is an
interesting study, with surprising results for us.

Ashe was the most popular woman based on traffic, Carol Cox was
the second most popular woman on the entire Internet, above Oprah
Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Cindy Margolis, Brittany Spears, and every
